What is Lapu-Lapu: Defender of Mactan?
Lapu-Lapu: Defender of Mactan is Team Sinigang's most ambitious browser game — an action strategy game set during the real Battle of Mactan on April 27, 1521. Lead Datu Lapu-Lapu's Visayan warriors against Ferdinand Magellan's Spanish forces.
This is a real moment in Philippine history: the first recorded defeat of European colonizers in what would become the Philippines. Magellan died on that beach. Lapu-Lapu did not. Best played in landscape mode.

Controls & Gameplay
Command Warriors
Tap to direct groups of warriors to intercept Spanish soldiers on the beach.
Use Ranged Fighters
Keep archers and javelin throwers on high ground — they're safest away from melee.
Fight in the Shallows
Draw Spanish forces into shallow water where their firearms lose their advantage.
The Boss Fight
Magellan appears in the final wave — read his attack patterns and exploit the gaps in his armor.
How to score higher
Don't engage in open water — Spanish firearms are devastating at range. Draw them into the shallows first. Keep your archers on the ridge the entire battle — they're your safest and most consistent damage source. For the Magellan boss fight: his legs are unarmored. Direct your strongest warriors low and alternate attacks to break his rhythm.
